What you notice first is the black tourmaline — a dark, near-opaque stone with fine lengthwise striations along each bead. Against that surface, the jade sits as a smooth, subtly translucent stone with a fine internal grain. Physically it is a strand that sits at the wrist. The piece belongs to Snowland Story, where landscape and stone are the starting point for the design.
The materials do not age at the same rate, and that difference is worth setting out. For the black tourmaline, the behaviour matters more than the finish: it is hard and stable in wear, but a rougher, unpolished surface shows handling more readily than a polished one. Jade is a different case in wear: it is tough and forgiving in daily wear, and the surface takes a gentle sheen with handling. Textile Cord — a closely braided cord whose matte surface shows the weave up close. In everyday use, it softens further with handling, and a strand worn every day will eventually lift where it crosses a metal edge.
One configuration is listed — Tourmaline (Wrist Circumference: 14–16 cm) — and that is the piece confirmed from the current photographs. Ask us for a photograph on a measured wrist if the difference between two options is unclear. Courage is offered as a personal reminder rather than a promised outcome. Natural materials vary, so tone, mark and grain will differ slightly from the photographed piece. Nothing is charged until the exact piece and its measurements have been confirmed with you in writing.
Care
Wipe it with a soft dry cloth; a deliberately raw surface should not be polished. Avoid impact at thin edges and keep it away from household chemicals; a soft dry cloth is enough. Keep it dry, avoid perfume and household chemicals, and replace the cord once the fibres begin to lift. Take it off before swimming, bathing or washing up; prolonged water is the most common cause of avoidable wear. Store the piece separately so it does not scratch against harder jewellery.
