The piece opens on the copper, a warm reddish metal with a soft, low-glare surface. The second note comes from the textile cord: a tight woven cord with a matte, slightly fibrous surface. As a shape it is a strand that sits at the wrist. It belongs to Tsering Treasures, a series centred on warm metals, carved detail and mixed materials. The turtle appears as a rounded shell shape with a marked carapace. It is a recurring motif in East Asian design, used here for its compact, domed silhouette.
Here is how each part of the piece behaves over time. The copper appears as a warm red-brown metal that never glares back at you. Against the skin, its surface deepens in tone the longer it is worn, so the colour you receive keeps moving. Inside the piece, the textile cord is a closely braided cord whose matte surface shows the weave up close. Handled often, it softens further with handling, and a strand worn every day will eventually lift where it crosses a metal edge.
The design is offered in two configurations — “DarkRed” and “Red” — so the choice is about the option rather than the size. The available fit is 6.7–7.5 in (17–19 cm) wrist circumference. Ask us for a photograph on a measured wrist if the difference between two options is unclear. What this design carries is cultural context and a personal meaning, and both belong to the wearer. Treat the photograph as a close guide: hand-worked surfaces carry small differences piece to piece. Availability, the final measurements and the preparation window are confirmed with you in writing before payment.
Care
Wipe it dry after wear and store it away from damp air; polish only with a copper-safe cloth if you want the original brightness. Keep it dry, avoid perfume and household chemicals, and replace the cord once the fibres begin to lift. Remove it before a shower or a swim, and dry it fully if it does get wet. Wipe it after wear, store it dry and away from direct sun, and it will need very little else.
