The first decision in this design was the citrine, a transparent quartz in warm yellow through to amber tones. The second note comes from the brass: a warm yellow metal with a slightly duller, more golden surface than copper. The form is a strand that sits at the wrist, and it belongs to Tsering Treasures, a series centred on warm metals, carved detail and mixed materials. The mountain motif takes the form of a ridgeline silhouette. High ground recurs throughout this studio’s design language, and the profile is used here as a way of holding a landscape in mind rather than as a claim about where the piece was made.
Each component is listed with the way it behaves, so nothing about the ageing comes as a surprise. For the citrine, the behaviour matters more than the finish: it takes a bright polish and holds colour well, though it is worth keeping out of long exposure to strong sun. Inside the piece, the brass is a warm yellow metal, softer in colour than copper and slightly less reflective. Handled often, it darkens with use, and in humid air it can take on a green film that wipes away easily.
Sizing runs across three stated ranges: 6.75–8 in, up to 9.5–10.5 in. Ask us for a photograph on a measured wrist if the difference between two options is unclear. The warm reading of this design is symbolic, and the meaning rests with the wearer. Slight differences in shade, inclusion and grain between pieces are inherent to the materials. The piece, its dimensions and the preparation window are set out in writing first, and only then is payment taken.
Care
Avoid impact and household chemicals and wipe it with a soft dry cloth. Wipe it dry after wear; a soft cloth restores the shine, and any intentional antique finish should be left alone. Remove it before a shower or a swim, and dry it fully if it does get wet. Keep it out of a damp room and separate from harder pieces, and the finish will hold far longer.
