Distressed Copper Intention Bracelet

This single-metal bracelet keeps the form direct: warm copper, a weathered surface and a narrow line around the wrist. It can be worn alone or stacked beside darker stone beads.

The individual materials are described below, since each has a different tolerance for water, light and knocks. Inside the piece, the copper is a warm red-brown metal that never glares back at you. Handled often, its surface deepens in tone the longer it is worn, so the colour you receive keeps moving.

The available fit currently runs from 15 to 17 cm. Its intention language is reflective rather than predictive, and the metal will naturally change with wear.

Care

Keep dry, remove before bathing, and wipe metal gently with a soft cloth. Natural patina is expected. Wipe it dry after wear and store it away from damp air; polish only with a copper-safe cloth if you want the original brightness. Take it off before swimming, bathing or washing up; prolonged water is the most common cause of avoidable wear. Put it on last and take it off first, and keep it in its own pouch between wears.
